The Binary MBA

Aim

The Binary MBA is unique in the world in that its mission is to create Industry Specialist Professional (ISP) Talents. The aim of the Binary MBA is to develop outstanding business leaders who possess deep understanding of a specific industry combined with mastery of a functional specialisation. The program is tailored to meet the demands of the modern business world by integrating core business principles with industry-specific insights and the latest technological advancements including AI, Business Analytics, Fintech etc.

MSc ITM

Aim

The Binary MSc ITM is unique in the world in that its mission is to create Industry Specialist Professional (ISP) Talents. The aim of the MSc ITM is to produce hybrid IT managers who are proficient in both the technical aspects of Information Technology and the management aspects of a business enterprise. By producing tech-savvy decision makers who understand how current and emerging technologies can best be applied to make their organizations more profitable, productive, competitive and sustainable, Binary’s MSc ITM graduates are well-positioned to lead and help overcome the new challenges of the 21st century.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the programme, graduates will be able

  • To apply and integrate knowledge on current issues in IT and IR4.0 to produce work that is at the forefront of developments in the domain of the information technology management.
  • To evaluate and analyse computing solutions in terms of their usability, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • To develop computing solutions and use the latest tools to improve company performance.
  • To apply existing techniques of research and enquiry to acquire, interpret and extend knowledge in emerging areas computing.
  • To communicate and function effectively individually and as a member of a team.
  • To prepare and present technical material to a diverse audience; and
  • To demonstrate behaviour that is consistent with codes of professional ethics.

Entry Qualifications & English Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.75, or its equivalent qualification as accepted by the Senate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.75 can be accepted, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in non-related fields with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 as accepted by the Senate and with 5 years relevant working experience, subject to a rigorous internal assessment.
  • Any other equivalent qualification accepted by the Malaysian Government /MQA .
  • All International students from non English speaking countries must meet the English requirement eg IELTS 6.0 (for more info click here)
